SeeMed, llc has developed Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Spatial Reality Display (SRD) technology solutions for 3D visualization, pre-procedure planning, teaching & demonstration, and procedural guidance in the operating room (OR)

AR

The Augmented reality (AR) headset is utilized for bringing patient’s 3D anatomy (as a hologram) or the saved pre-procedure plan in 3D (as a hologram) on the patient, next to the region of surgery.

VR

Virtual reality (VR) is used for teaching and demonstration (utilizing networked mode), and for pre-procedure planning. The saved pre-procedure plan can be brought into the operating room as a 3D hologram utilizing our Augmented reality (AR) headsets.

SRD

3D visualization of the patient’s anatomy without the VR or AR headset. Especially appropriate during Cardiovascular cases
